Garrecht TRX-1090 ADS-B receiver.

Data from the original Flarm are being combined in the TRX-1090 with position data of other aircraft equiped with mode-S transponders with ADS-B out functionality and shown on existing external Flarm displays or the PDA.

Signal of Mode-A/C transponders or Mode-S transponders without ADS-B out are received as well. But due to the absence of positional data an exact fix is not possible. Based on the available height information combined with the signal strength the vertical and horizontal distance is calculated and a warning can be generated.

Installation of the TRX-1090 is very simple. Just connect between the Flarm and the external display.

Connecting to GARMIN(R) 395/396/495/496/695/696(R) equipment is possible as well. The format of the output data can be configured to fit for this purpose.
Warnings wil be displayed directly on the electronic map.

The TRX-1090 can also be connected to a Garrecht transponder of the VT series and will allow the transponder to send the ADS-B out signal.
